Job Summary
We are looking for a DeFi Software Engineer to lead the development of a decentralized trading platform for cryptocurrencies and NFTs. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with smart contract development, blockchain protocols, and decentralized exchange (DEX) mechanisms. This role involves building secure, scalable, and high-performance DeFi applications that enhance user experience and financial accessibility.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts for a decentralized trading platform using Solidity and Rust.
• Integrate blockchain protocols, including Ethereum, Solana, Binance Smart Chain, and Layer 2 solutions.
• Develop and optimize an automated market maker (AMM), order book, or hybrid trading model for crypto and NFTs.
• Build secure, gas-efficient, and user-friendly trading features, including liquidity pools, staking, and lending mechanisms.
• Ensure smart contract security through audits, fuzz testing, and integration of security best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers to build seamless Web3 integrations using React, Next.js, and Web3.js/Ethers.js.
• Implement cross-chain interoperability using bridges and atomic swaps.
• Work with APIs and on-chain data sources for real-time market data feeds and analytics.
• Maintain and upgrade protocol governance mechanisms, including DAO integrations and tokenomics.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in blockchain and smart contract development.
• Proficiency in Solidity, Rust, or Move for smart contract development.
• Experience building and deploying dApps on Ethereum, Solana, or other EVM-compatible chains.
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols like Uniswap, SushiSwap, Curve, Aave, and OpenSea.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, gas optimization, and security best practices.
• Experience with Web3 development tools like Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry, and Alchemy.
• Knowledge of cross-chain bridges, rollups (Optimistic, zk-rollups), and Layer 2 scaling solutions.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with proper documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
Preferred Skills
• Prior experience developing DEXs, NFT marketplaces, or DeFi lending protocols.
• Knowledge of Cosmos SDK, Polkadot Substrate, StarkNet, or Avalanche C-Chain.
• Understanding of zero-knowledge proofs (zk-SNARKs, zk-STARKs) and privacy-enhancing technologies.
• Experience with decentralized governance, DAO frameworks, and token economics.
• Background in traditional finance, market-making, or algorithmic trading is a plus.
